SUPPORTIVE HOUSING
Youth Aging Out of Foster Care / Independence Starts at Home
Young Adult Supportive Services/Independence Starts at Home (YASS) Program provides housing and supportive services to 21 youth who have aged out of foster care and currently reside in the David and Joyce Dinkins Gardens, a state-of-the art 85-unit low-income green building. These youth are provided with ongoing case management to help them sustain their homes and reach their maximum potential. Scattered-site Housing
The Scattered-Site Housing Program, provides housing to those living with HIV/AIDS and who are either homeless or in danger of losing their homes. This program works specifically with those infected with the disease and who were referred by the NYC Human Resources Administration (HRA). Senior Housing
HCCI offers senior housing at two locations. Dr. Muriel Petioni Plaza, Harlem’s first LEED-Silver designed affordable housing development for low-income seniors offers 65 units. And Victory One provides 110 units of low-income, quality housing. Both sites provide onsite case management, recreation and social activities.
